Blood Transfusion Unit

Department of Hematology is under the purview of PPSP, while Blood Transfusion Unit (UPT) is under the purview of HUSM, both were Headed and Coordinated by The Head of Hematology Department. Our current Head of Department is Professor Madya Dr. Rosline Hassan. Department of Hematology is made up of five main specialities: Hematology Laboratory Coagulation Laboratory Immunohematology Laboratory Blood Bank Serivces Molecular Laboratory Stem Cell Laboratory The department is run by Hematologists, Medical Officer, Science Officer, Medical Laboratory Technologist, Nurses, Laboratory Assistant, Attendents, as well as clerical staff.
